Bread with cheese cream, vegetables and turkey meat

  • 100 g mountain cheese
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 2 gherkins
  • 200 g quark
  • 4 tablespoons yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish glaze
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 6 lettuce leaves
  • 8 slices of wholegrain bread
  • 200 g sliced smoked turkey meat


  1. Finely grate the cheese for the cream cheese. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Finely chop the gherkins. Mix quark, mountain cheese, onion, parsley, gherkins, yoghurt and horseradish well, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stem and cut into thin slices. Cut the peppers in half, core them, clean them and cut them into fine strips. Wash lettuce leaves, clean and shake dry. Coat the wholemeal bread slices with the cheese cream. Cover with lettuce leaves, turkey meat, tomato slices and strips of pepper. Grind over with pepper and serve
